Relevance

SERCA 3 is the sarco-endoplasmic reticulum Ca²⁺ ATPase that sequesters Ca²⁺ into intracellular stores of mammalian cells. This antibody inhibits Ca²⁺ sequestration and Ca²⁺ATPase activity mediated by human SERCA3.

Specificity

Epitope has recently been described to be between amino acids 1-236 of human SERCA3. PL/IM430 recognises a 100kDa SERCA3 protein in platelet lysates.

Tested Applications

Western blotting, immunoprecipitation, immunohistochemistry. SERCA3 function blocking antibody. Removal of sodium azide is recommended prior to functional assays.
